If I were going to get an Associates Degree in business, what kind of business degree would be best? Which one would have the most adversity in the prefessional world, and apply to a more broad scope of business degree requirements for employers?

If your school has it, I’d recommend Entrepreneurship OR Global Business. They both give you a wide variety of knowledge in the business field and put you in contact with some great business leaders in your area.

Most community colleges offer one to two different degrees in business. At the community college I work at one business degree is an associate of science (which means that it transfers towards a bachelors). The other is an associates of applied science in business management. It does not transfer. So it will depend on whether or not you are looking to further your education beyond the community college level. Both are equally useful at the associate level, but neither will get you into a job beyond mid-career range.
I always suggest to my student to complete the degree that transfers. You may not be looking to get a bachelors degree now – but you never know what you might want to do later on.
