Is it required to get the degree in college or can you do it online instead?

check with the DEA web site for requirements for education and degrees for job position in this field..
Yes. But keep in mind that 90% of DEA is investigation. The stuff you see on TV is like the show Cops. They ride around in a car for 12 hours only to get 5 minutes of footage. My brother is DEA and warns everyone to research the job carefully before applying.
As long as the college (online or campus based) is regionally accredited, any degree you earn should be accepted by any potential employers (including the government) or other academic institutions.
My best recommendation would be to contact a number of colleges to find the best fit for you and your needs (tuition, schedule, career opportunities, etc.). Too often people enroll in the first school they find rather than taking the time to find the best school for them. Taking that time now could save you a lot of time, money and frustration if you choose the wrong school.
This site has some good info on regionally accredited online degrees and some colleges that offer them to help expand your search:

I think you can enter your info on there for any colleges you are interested in and they will send you more info for free. Good Luck!
As I know, this site has top listing of such college courses online – edu.2kool4u.net

If the program is accredited, it’s the same degree.
Some are good, and some aren’t. A good starting place is to find a “real” school (one with a live campus) that also has an online program and use that.
